Mandatory add on's

Hi all

In Shadowlords Society we need to set some minimum requirements for what addon's to install. Installing the below mentioned addon's and adjusting it to your own preferences will be very handy for everyone when running group / warband / scenarios.

First go to http://www.curse.com and install the curse client. With this client you can find / update / install new addons.



Mandatory addons for everyone

This is needed because many of the available addons or their commands depend on this expanded library.

WARcommander http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addo ... ander.aspx
Can be used to quick report enemy location and numbers when spotted. This have a very high value of information compaired to what people usually do /1 INC at statue ... hurry!

Group Icons http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addo ... icons.aspx
Adds a icon for every player in your warband, over the players head. You will be able to see who is in your group and/or warband and who is not.

Paint the leader http://war.curseforge.com/addons/painttheleader/
Manual download only. Marks the warband leader and makes it easy to follow her/him in the terrain.




Mandatory for warband leaders

Shows VP or percentage of domination, ownership of BO's and keeps etc. Can be used to tell your warband what to hit next etc.




Mandatory for healers and guarding tanks

This addon has the best unitframes for healers - a very visible indicator showing who you guard etc. This addon got alot more functionality that I wont mention here - turn off some of the indicators and experiment a bit with it.




Knight of The Blazing Sun

Assign 3 auras to be twisted when pressing a keybind. A KoTBS can keep 3 auras up at all times by using this. Note that this addon combined with a Logitech G11 / G15 keyboard can make you twist automatic - only side effect is that the keystrokes will be visible when typing in chats. Is G11 / G15 macro recording legal? Now thats another story, I have never heard of anyone beeing banned for it and seen it used all the time.




Nice to have

Gives clear red brackets around your enemy target and green around your friendly target - can be really good in the thick of battle.

Choff Assist http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addo ... ssist.aspx
A set of two macros makes you able to set a fixed person to assist, and assist.

Calling http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addo ... lling.aspx
Using a channel to call targets and assist.
